Space shuttle Endeavour's countdown to launch has entered the final hold at T minus nine minutes, as launch control watches a storm cell tracking about twenty miles west of the Kennedy Space Center.
Chief NASA astronaut Steve Lindsey flying high in a Gulfstream II jet noted a storm cell to the west, about 15 miles from the space center.
Two issues NASA's launch control were working were recently cleared. Slush ice at the T-0 umbilical line and a tieback cover poses no threat at launch. Weather remains the only concern.
