New Station Solar Arrays to Unfurl Today

Today, astronauts aboard the international space station will spend five hours to slowly unfurl two sets of solar arrays on the newly installed Starboard 6 Truss beginning at 10:58 am ET. will have continuing LIVE coverage.

Mission Management stated late on Thursday that they may see issues in the deployment [such as the wafer thin arrays sticking together], however they will open one set part way and then begin unfurling the second set part way.
