Spacewalk, Solar Array Truss Work Underway

Two of Discovery's astronauts left the international space station by way of the Quest airlock this afternoon in an effort to help install the new and final set of solar arrays for earth's outpost in space.

Mission specialists Steve Swanson and Ricky Arnold's spacesuits went to internal power at 1:16 pm EDT, thus beginning their planned six 1/2-hour walk in space.
