Atlantis KSC Landing No-Go for Today

STS-125 Entry Flight Director Norm Knight officially waved off landing for today as Mission Control at 7:49 am EDT radioed the crew, "We are going to formally wave off for the day".

Atlantis commander Scott Altman replied back, "We know you looked at it hard
and we appreciate you making the call early and understand", as the orbiter flew over the central Pacific Ocean.

Saturday's first landing attempt would see the Deorbit burn occur on orbit 180 at 8:02 am EDT, with a landing here at Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility Runway 15 at 9:16 am.
